Description

Role: 
ServiceNow Architect 

Role Summary:
Looking for an experienced professional with 8 years’ experience in configuration, customization, development, and administration on the ServiceNow platform with at least 6+ years including Lead/Architect level. You will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, designing an end-to end solution and lead the development. Your solutions should align with business goals and objectives and meet all quality and compliances requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead implementation of ServiceNow modules and functionalities.
  • Advise, design, develop and configure solutions based on ServiceNow including (uni/bi-directional) integrations with other third-party systems.
  • Identify and invent novel solutions to challenging technical problems and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
  • Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs.
  • Performing gap analysis between business requirements and functional capability of the platform .
  • Provide insight on the best practices to manage the platform's security, performance, upgradeability, and management in accordance with ServiceNow recommendations.
  • Manage project delivery schedules using various delivery models, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Lead the technical team, establish the scope of services, and ensure delivery timelines.
  • Document high-level and low-level design document including test cases for unit and system testing .
  • Advanced scripting and development on ServiceNow platform using one or more JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS across various objects/workflows of ServiceNow such as Service Portal, Business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
  • Facilitate support during the rollout of new implementation of ServiceNow.
  • Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, Table, Table Extension and more.
  • Design and implement using Domain Separation.
  • Understand Workflow editor & able to design workflow for various modules/catalogs and hands on experience on workflow activities for triggering approvals & fulfillment process.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience of managing ServiceNow implementation in an Architect/Lead Developer capacity.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
  • Must have experience of various ServiceNow implementations, have developed custom applications and have through understanding of ServiceNow Platform and not just ITSM.
  • Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever-changing environment.
  • Be a good Coach and able leader who can work with Clients as well as the team.
  • Advance knowledge of ServiceNow functionalities including but not limited MID Server, Domain Separation, Scripting, Integration Technologies (LDAP/API/Email), UI design(HTML/Jelly) etc. 
  • Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.) Excellent collaboration skills including analysis, brainstorming, communication, teamwork.
  • Experience working in and managing multiple update sets and coordinating their promotion.
  • Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in working on Performance Analytics, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, ITOM, Event Management and Cloud to Cloud Integrations is advantage.
