Description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and managing complex projects with significant bottom-line impact.
  • Work with remote teams
  • Work with senior managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities that help them succeed in their business goals.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new implementation/development.
  • Instill best practices for software development and documentation, ensure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.

Essential Skills:
  • Experience in the P&C Insurance with very good understanding of underwriting, rating, insurance rules, forms. Regulatory Needs, Commercial and Specialty Line of Business.
  • Through understanding of XML / XSLT EXAMPLE Author , Server , Express , Forms , Rating , Batch Processing , Task and Notification , Transact , Theme Customization, DCOD Cloud Upgrade techniques.
  • Should have good exposure in Insight Extract Map, Data Hub, Integrations with Anywhere API, Anywhere Managed Integrations.
  • Work experience as Solution Architect in Duck Creek Large Transformation Program.
  • Hands-on-experience with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Integrations, development experience in Duck Creek Toolsets (Author and Product Studio).
  • Thorough understanding of Duck Creek Manuscript components. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into Manuscript Inheritance structures, including design of technical components.
  • Hands on experience in Example Author (Pages, Forms, Tables), Express 3 Page Builder, and Example Debugging Tools (Trace Monitor, Example Util (including TSV), Data Tester).
  • Experience with Duck Creek Integration using C# to Development of Custom Components.
  • Hands on experience in Duck Creek Data Insight with custom Extract Map creation and mapping.
  • Hands on experience in XML language (or similar programming language).
  • Hands on experience in Duck Creek product versions 4.x or 5.x or 6.x or 7.x (On Demand).
  • Experience with SQL Server, Stored procedures, Triggers, User defined Functions/ Types, Cursors and XQuery.
  • Thorough understanding of DCOD Cumulus Design Standards, Cloud upgrade Analysis and remediation.
  • Should understand how full Duck Creek suite implementation work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment which will include but is not limited to teaching and mentoring a development team on all aspects of the Duck Creek platform.
  • Full knowledge of software engineering life cycle including Agile environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field required. MS or other related advanced degree preferred.
